Relocation

IMG_4015Leaving a studio in Manhattan was a bittersweet occasion, some say it was a crime. I love NYC and Brooklyn, I adored my home in Park Slope and my studio on 23rd. & Madison, but it was time for a change. Having stayed 15 years past my 5 year plan, I felt confidant with my decision to relocate to a community that offered more green space, room for a dog, and my “stuff” …. which had been stored in boxes all along the east coast.

It has been three months, and I’m still not settled  on how to make my creative space work. Perhaps I have too much space to consider; a home, green-space and a studio! We have accomplished phase 1 of our home renovation, and are quietly honoring the change of seasons as they pass so we can proceed with phase 2 of renovation. I could realistically have a summer studio and a winter workspace!
